hardswingig' new written music by the young Swedish altosaxophone star Fredrik
Kronkvist. The album covers a wide spectrum of grooves, moods and structures
with action-filled themes and solos.
Elements of soul, blues and spiritual moods mixed with sharp-edged rhythmic
concepts, and the power of jazz and improvisation makes this album an extraordinary,
exciting trip.
Miriam
Aïda, well-known jazz singer and lead singer in “A Bossa Eletrica”
releases “Meu Brasil”, an acoustic adventure in the Brazilian, earthbound
music tradition. Recorded with both Swedish and Brazilian musicians, this album
reflects a global unity coming from the mutual passion for the neverending swing
and feel of the Brazilian rythms and harmonies.
